METHODS WE USE

All our teachers are French native speakers and specialized in teaching French as a Foreign Language. Students (except complete beginners) are assessed as they join. A 60 mn test will establish their level so they are assigned to the right course. Within our Intensive courses (from level 1 to level 6), we use methods called "SCENARIO " & " ECHO ".

From the Intermediate levels (B1), students will be given the opportunity to work on learning sequences via the Internet or through CD Roms. These sequences will be carried out on a semiautonomy basis with the help of the teacher.

These activities are an integral part of the learning process practiced by each teacher within the course and come within the scope of the programmes in order to reach the objectives defined at each level.

As far as levels 7, 8 and 9 are concerned, on-line activities will be an important part of the objectives considered by the teacher. Furthermore, these activities will be liable to assessment. Higher levels (B2) are quite specific in a way that they offer students a "civilisation" aspect that requires a total immersion in current affairs, French culture and politics.
